Michael Thorwegen is ambitious, pleasantly persistent, and a charismatic, talented sales leader. He is so talented, in fact, that it has been said he could quite possibly sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves. As Senior Director of Sales for Lexicon Travel, Michael brings his 30 years of sales experience (15 years in leisure travel-most recently in the 125+billion-dollar vacation rental sector) in both B2B and B2C arenas. A power house in building, nurturing and maintaining relationships, Michael has built inside and outside sales teams and programs from the ground up with repeated success. As a proven talent acquisition specialist, he has the ability to find and develop all-star sales and account executives. As a data and goal driven self-starter, Michael has a constant drive toward excellence in all facets of the customer service and sales experience.
A veteran of the US Army, Michael received his education from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business. When not striving for hitting his sales goals, Michael is either traveling, dreaming of traveling, or planning to travel. His love of travel and adventurous spirit married during college when he decided to live in a tent in Alaska one summer. From there he travelled to incredible destinations like Bali, Hawaii and Lamback before getting “Rock Fever” and moving back to the west coast. He currently lives in Heber City with his wife, Jill, and their two children.
